Polmone Turismo Verde What to expect?

Our apartments are equipped with separate water heaters in bathroom and kitchen, convenient home and garden furniture, enough cooking utensils and crockery. There is electricity, running water and -when needed- firewood. In every apartment there are good beds. Quilts and blankets are available, but you should bring your own linen. However, it is possible to rent linen on request.

There is a washing machine which you can use. We charge you a small amount per wash.

You may use our pool which is situated in such a way that it won't cause any rumor at the apartments.

Every apartment has a wood-burning stove, big enough to heat the living area to a convenient temperature.

Every old farmstead in Umbria has its own wood oven outside. In the early days, the oven was used for baking bread, since shops were far away and grain used to be available in every country family. We have maintained the original oven. Nowadays we do not use the oven to bake bread, but we regularly bake our own pizza's.

All apartments are situated on different sides of the stead. That means a lot of privacy, since your next door neighbours are around the corner. The house measures 10 by 20 meters.

We have a biological vegetables garden with all sorts of fresh vegetables and herbs.

The ambience on Polmone is easy-going and personal. We, Nico van der Meer en Roos Zwager, are present most of the time and we will try to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.
